They wanted us to capture and communicate the terroir of appleton estate’s rum. from luis’ experience in nearby haiti, he knew the only way to understand it and capture it was to go there. so argoanut took a chance and sent matt and luis to jamaica for 48 hours. they came back with a line and a film and print and hand written type all from the terroir of rum country. this led to arganaut winning the business and allowing matt and luis to go back to jamaica and create the beautiful campaign- from jamaica with love. this experience has become known at argonaut as their jamaica moment.
